ADAPTIVE REUSE: GUDANG TIMUR, JAKARTA

Interior Architecture is a field that concern on adaptive reuse design. Which means that we react to old building that needs conservation. Many old building in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta, are useless. Then the people in Indonesia who still believe in myth or horror story, give a label to the building as a horror building. That was disadvantage things, because who knows that the buildings maybe have a historical story behind.

This project was done in my 5th Interior Architecture Design Studio. I got Gudang Timur in North Jakarta to add new function and new design. And supported a historical story that was had by this building.
